These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of picr.app, operated by ShevsSoft Technology ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using picr.app, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Please read these Terms carefully before using picr.app. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the service.

1. Description of Service

picr.app is an event photo sharing platform that allows users to create shared photo albums for events, invite guests to upload photos via QR code, and display photos in real time on a live photo wall.

2. Account Registration

To create events and manage albums, you must register for an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account
  • Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use picr.app to:

  • Upload, share, or display content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable
  • Upload content that infringes the intellectual property rights of others
  • Upload photos of individuals without their consent
  • Upload sexually explicit or pornographic content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or albums
  • Use the service for any commercial purpose not expressly permitted by us
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the service

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms and to terminate accounts that engage in prohibited behaviour.

4. Content Ownership and Licences

Your content

You retain full ownership of all photos and content you upload to picr.app. By uploading content, you grant ShevsSoft Technology a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, process, display, and transmit your content solely as necessary to provide the picr.app service.

This licence terminates when you delete the content or close your account.

Our content

The picr.app platform, including its design, software, trademarks, and all non-user content, is owned by ShevsSoft Technology and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without express written permission.

5. Privacy

Your use of picr.app is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and share information about you.

6. Paid Plans and Refunds

picr.app offers paid subscription plans as described on our pricing page. By purchasing a paid plan, you agree to the pricing and terms presented at checkout.

  • The Pro Event (one-time): A single payment for a single premium event album. No recurring charges.
  • The Power User (annual): An annual subscription billed once per year. You may cancel at any time; your plan remains active until the end of the billing period.

Refunds are available within 7 days of purchase if you have not used the paid features. Contact us via our contact form to request a refund.

7. Advertising

The free tier of picr.app displays advertisements served by Google AdSense. These advertisements help us fund the free product. Paid plan users do not see advertisements. By using the free plan, you consent to the display of such advertisements.

8. Disclaimers

picr.app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

We are not responsible for any content uploaded by users. Event hosts are responsible for moderating content within their own event albums.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ShevsSoft Technology shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of picr.app.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or a notice within the platform. Continued use of picr.app after changes constitute acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before any formal legal proceedings.
